Hey, I’m the girl behind The Seamstress LDN 👋🏽

I’m the face, hands, and probably the person covered in bits of yarn behind The Seamstress LDN.

I’ve been sewing and making things for years I studied fashion through college and university, worked as a seamstress, spent time learning alterations for a while.

Basically, making things with my hands has been following me around for a while 😂

What started with sewing and alterations slowly turned into me picking up a crochet hook and thinking, “hmm… I could probably make a bag with this.”

And then one bag turned into another… and suddenly I had a whole business. 🤷🏽♀️Here you’ll find handmade crochet bags, clothing and statement pieces, alongside my sewing and alteration work. Everything is made by me, by hand, in small quantities so there may be a little more personality and a little less “mass produced” around here.

I love making pieces that feel different, whether that’s a cute everyday bag, something a little extra for a night out, or an outfit that makes you think, “okayyy, where did you get that?” 👀

I’m still figuring things out, trying new ideas and probably starting projects at inappropriate hours of the night 😂 but that’s part of the fun.
